Bella Body & Soul caters for children and young people, adults (both genders) and those who are young at heart, to teach rhythm and movement in a relaxed, supportive and comfortable environment.

To ensure maximum participation for all students, we encourage parents to leave children in the care of the dance instructor. Our lead dance instructor has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Senior First aid, Completed National Criminal History Check, Certificate IV in Fitness, Barre Attack, Boxing Level 1 & 2, Kickboxing, Suspension Training Certification, Current working with childrens check and Acrobatics Junior & Intemediate Certified , Acrobatics Arts Level 1 & 2 and graduate of CBTS Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Registered Teacher.

All Teaching staff will be required to have current First Aid & Working with Children's Check/Criminal History/Police Check.

DIRECTOR
Renee Sloan (Bloomfield/Douglas)
Renee's dance journey began as a primary aged student ,where she was trained under the guidance of Di Salvatore Dance Academy in Leeton. Renee studied Ballet, Jazz/HipHop, Tap, Contemporary/Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Pointe and Demi &National character. Renee was classically trained in Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus and also completed levels the ATOD Tap Syllabus.
Renee has 30 years’ experience in dance and performance, competed in numerous competitions and completed many examinations. Throughout her training Renee workshopped with several of companies such as Australian Ballet Company, Brent Street, Bartuccio's and performed at various venues, including New Zealand and Disneyland, USA.
Teaching children became Renee's focus and she completed a Bachelor of Teaching Birth to 5 years, she has previously worked at a local early children centre and gym and has four children of her own. Renee thrives on furthering her education, studying different styles of dance and fitness. Renee has obtained certifications in Acrobatique Junior Certified and Intermediate Teacher Training, Certified Module 1 & 2 Teacher in Acrobatics Arts, Barre Attack Certified Instructor, Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness, Current First Aid, Criminal History Check and Working with Children's Check. Renee is accredited with the Royal Academy of Dance, is a current CBTS graduate & Registered RAD Teacher.
Renee remains actively involved with her teaching in her local area and previously in Griffith and Narrandera She is committed to providing high quality Dance and movement experiences to her students. Renee has a strong emphasis of fun, fitness, teamwork, building resilience and fostering self-esteem.
Renee teaches Adults classes ranging from styles such as Barre Attack, Tap, and Pole Fitness. Children's Classes taught at Bella Body & Soul consist of Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Acrodance & Dance & Stretch with me (carer/child class).
Ms Renee enjoys going to beach, animals, nature, yoga, mediatation,music and reading books.
Lindsay Crockett (Black) HipHop Teacher
Lindsay has danced since the age of 3. She started her dance journey with Dance Centre MIA in the styles of jazz, ballet, tap and modern. She later pursued her training in Sydney at ED5 International where she found her love for hip hop and teaching. Over the years Lindsay has competed in different competition nationally and internationally some being International Hip Hop Champs, Australia's Got Talent and Loose Control. Lindsay has had the privilege to be dancer in various Shows like Count Down, Carols In the Domain and Tap Works. Recently Lindsay has been part of an Organization called Krosswerds which run hip hop events in Sydney, Malaysia, Philippines and New Zealand these events has given her the opportunity and platform for share her knowledge of dance and work along side some amazing dancers, choreographers, artists, studios and students. She now resides in her beloved home town of Leeton where she has found a great dance community to be apart of and will continue to travel with Krosswerds events and Endeavour to grow and share her love for dance with the people around her. Lindsay teaches HIPHOP and various Jazz classes. Lindsay has a working with children's check and first aid certification. Lindsay has launched her own massage and beauty business, where a range of massage a beauty services are on offer.
Sarah Morriss (Burton) Tap Teacher
Sarah started her dance training at Dancentre MIA Leeton under the tuition of Mrs Melanie Ireland at the age of 7. There she studied Tap, Jazz, National Character, Classical Ballet and Contemporary dance styles. After completing the HSC exams Sarah moved to Sydney to study dance further at ‘Elenore De 5’ performing arts academy. Missing her country home, Sarah returned later that year and began to study for her teaching examinations. Choosing Tap dance as her speciality because of her love for rhythm and drums. Sarah completed her teaching certification with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing London in 2002 passing with Honours.
Amanda Stanton- Assistant Acrodance Instructor
Amanda grew up on the Central Coast before moving to QLD in grade 5. She has always had a passion for dance and gymnastics, but never got the opportunity the pursue this. Amanda spent the next five years competing at a National Level in Marching girls. Amanda gained vital skills during this time, gaining confidence, value of teamwork and discipline and what was required to be able to compete at such a high level.
Amanda moved to Leeton in 2004, where she finally was able to join a local gymnastics team. Throughout this time she grew in all aspects of development, competing in state competitions and representing her local highschool. Amanda gained the opportunity to coach, which lead to coaching two age groups and assiting in coaching a third age group. Amanda gained valuable skills and knowledge from coaching and she continued to work hard to increase her strength and flexibility. Once the Local facility closed its doors in late 2010, Amanda proceeded to travel to Wagga Wagga to continue her passion up until it came to difficult with her young child.
Amanda completed a Community Coaching program through the AIS in 2015 and has a current First Aid and working with children's check.
Amanda values the importance and benefits of physical activity and is excited to come and share her knowledge and skills with Bella Body and Soul.
